On September 11, Panama local time, Chen Jian’an, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended and addressed the promotion event of the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Panama. Chen Jian’an stated that CCPIT would actively play the role of a bridge and use CISCE and other platforms to deepen practical cooperation between the business communities of China and Panama. Before the meeting, Chen Jian’an had a discussion with Gerardo G. Peláez, Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Authority of Panama (ProPanama), Eddy Tapiero, Panamanian economist, Ángel Sánchez, Vice President of the Logistics Business Council (COEL) and other guests, and promoted the guiding principles of the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). They had in-depth exchanges on enhancing China-Panama economic and trade cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation also visited Xu Xueyuan, ambassador of Embajada de la República Popular China en República de Panamá, and engaged in discussion on relevant topics with Zhang Gang, Chairman of Chilean Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Tourism and President of the Bank of China Panama Branch.
